Rafael Moreno is a singer and composer of
Catholic music. He was born in México,
where he still lives, and has used his
gifts for music since very early in his
childhood by participating in Catholic
festivals and parish choirs. At age 14,
he joined the Charismatic Renewal where
he experienced a strong desire to compose
Christian music. An architect by
profession and a musician by vocation, he
founded "Agua Viva" in 1984, which became
a milestone in his journey as an
evangelizer through Catholic music, and a
professional musician. He has offered
concerts that have brought him to the
United States, and other countries such
as Argentina, Colombia, Guatemala, Chile,
Panama and Costa Rica. Through his
ministry in Agua Viva, Rafael prepares
and conducts workshops on music
composition and production, as well as
the spirituality of the Christian
musician.

Rafael's work takes into account productions for children, such as "Cantando como Niños" (Singing like kids) and "Heroes de Jesus" (Heroes of Jesus) which include songs like "Soy hijo de Dios" (I am a children of God), "7", "Parábola del sembrador" (The parable of the farmer) and others.

The ministry of Rafael Moreno (Agua Viva) organizes composition, production and spirituality workshops for the christian musician.

Ministry:

Rafael is a commited lay que works full time in the evangelization through music, with 25 years of experience in Agua Viva. Starting from the necessity to carry the message of our Lord Jesus with music, several sections were stablished in the ministry:

Production: With over 80 producctions for Agua Viva and other catholic authors, including priests that use music as an essential part of their ministry, Rafael Moreno, through Agua Viva, has been able to support and strenghten the efforts to carry the word of God to all the souls that need it; certain that this songs will be heard daily by thousands in their homes, hospitals, schools, creating that miraculous encounter with Our Lord.

Concerts: ...Or like Rafael preffers to call them: Prayer Assembly... In many places with so many different shades but one single Spirit; the spirit of God presenting itself in these places, spreading peace, happiness, knowledge, awaking faith and love to God our Father, to Jesus Christ His Son, inspired by the Holy Ghost and always in company of Maria our Mother.

Formation: With over 25 years working in the evangelization trough music and after many life experiences in this service, Rafael has had the oportunigy to share with brothers and sisters interested in being better instruments for the work of Our Lord. Giving formation workshops that address topics like: composition, musical production and arrangements, group dinamic, rehearsals, spiritual life in musical service and others.

Rafael has shared his gifts and messages from the Lord visiting countries like the United States of North America, Mexico, Guatemala, Panama, Colombia, Argentina, Chile and producing soloists and religious groups.
